IVF # 1 in Feb or March

Hi ladies. I know I am still new to the board, but we found out bad news about DH SA on Wed. It looks like we will be doing IVF in Feb or March.

I'm really scared so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: IVF # 1 in Feb or March

  • I'm sorry to hear that. Try not to be scared. I know that's easier said than done. We are in the process of IVF#1 and it's been smoother than I expected. The women of this board are terrific and I've learned so so much from them. It's really made the process so much easier. And, the support system is just incredible. We also had not so great results from DH's SA a couple weeks ago and found out we have to do IVF with ICSI. I was a wreck over it and the lovely ladies here helped calm all of my fears!

I wish you the very very best! I hope 2011 brings you a sticky BFP!!!

  • I hope it's ok I respond. I think the thought of all the injections, & procedures were overwhelming for me at first. But you can do this! The hardest part of it all is the 2WW. You will do great. Just take it one step at a time. Are you going with Main Line?
  • I used to hate needles and was so worried when we did our first injection. It was much easier and not as painful as I thought it would be.

  • I'm starting stims for IVF #1 next month, with ER and ET in February. So right around the time you're going to start yours! I did shots with my first injectables cycle last month and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. Good luck!!
