Infertility

ovidril

Does anyone know where to find reasonable priced ovidril?

last month i bought from freedom at 65$. now there is a handling fee of 30 so its 95$ for a shot. am all oop.

This is going to be my  last shot and i will accept the fact that its over for me. i have tried 6 cycles plus mc along the way. its time to call it quits.

Re: ovidril

  • Eep...they've added a $30 handling fee (shakes virtual fist).  I've always used Freedom as well, but I hear that Walgreens have a delivery service for fertility meds.  I've seen other ladies suggest other specialized pharmacies as well, so hopefully they'll chime in since I have a stinky memory.

  • Can you try Mandell's? They are located in NJ. Shipping is typically free but a next-day delivery is $25 extra.

I'm not sure what they charge for Ovidrel OOP though.

thanks ladies will look and see.
  • When I compared prices several months ago, Freedom had the best price.  Alexanders Twin pharmacy was next at $75.  I think a lot of these pharmacies only waive shipping fees if your order is $x.

You might want to check with your local pharmacies, Walgreens or CVS.  That way you likely won't pay shipping.

    Good luck!

  • Walgreens and CVS both have specialty meds programs and when I checked a month ago, they both offered free shipping.

Their pricing was a little higher than Freedom though....

  • I was OOP for Ovidrel too and I paid $105.  It's so expensive!  Good luck finding it cheaper and I hope this cycle works for you!  ((HUGS))

I was able to order my Ovidrel from my Target pharmacy.  It takes them a day to get it in, but I just filled it at the beginning of my cycle when I filled my Femara so it wasn't a big deal.  If companies are starting to add on fees (likely due to rising gas costs, I'd imagine) I would check out your local pharmacies.  GL!
