Hi!

 

I love the name Emma Grace.  My last name is also a G.  Her initials would be EGG :)  That is ok right? or am I dooming my child?

    EGG isn't horrible.  It wouldn't bother me.  I would only have a problem with initials that spell something offensive.

    It'll be fine. My initials have always spelled a word (JAM, and then JAR when I married). As long as it's a neutral word with no negative connotation (PIG, FAT, etc.), don't worry about it.

    No big deal.

    As many little girls named Emma Grace as there are out in the world now, I'm sure plenty of them also have the initials EGG. No reason to turn you off of a name you love.

    EGG is fine, just don't monogram too much.

    I do think it'll be funny when she gets married and registered for monogrammed towels and they all say EGG.  hehehehehehe.

     

    Not a dealbreaker but I think both you and she will need to have a sense of humor about it.
