Memorial Hospital
Has anyone had a c-section at Memorial Hospital? I've had 2 at W&I and while I love my OB, she wasn't there for either of the c-sections. I'm thinking about switching docs and trying for a "gentle c" at Memorial, but worry that Memorial isn't a popular choice.

Hello! While I did not have a c-section, I did have a wonderful experience at Memorial. I would like to say that Memorial is a popular choice, I think its just a bit quieter. I've met Dr Morton (who preforms gentle c-sections) and he is incredibly caring and gentle. Dr Magee is also extremely nice.

Rhode Island Birth Network has wonderful information inculding provider lists and a list of all birthing facilities in RI.
Doulas of Rhode Island - a birth doula can be amazing helpful even during a c-section and a postpartum doula would be just as helpful during the recovery period. I hired Amanda Morin and she was amazing!
