VBA2C of epic proportions: triplets!

Jb&JbJb&Jb member

ICAN of Atlanta announced today:

"The birth of triplets via VBA2C in our chapter!!! Mama carried the babies to 38 weeks and her triplet boys were 5lbs 11oz, 6lbs 9oz, 5lbs 12oz! Mom had her first two babies via CS- CS#1 for fetal distress, CS #2 for lack of options. Dr Joseph Tate presiding, of course."

I hear Dr. Tate really went to bat for her to help make this a reality (he's a bit if a hero amongst ICAN). Kudos to the mom for sticking to her guns, especially with two other children and a triplet pregnancy!

  • Wow!  I'd say a vaginal birth of triplets on it's own is pretty amazing, but a VBA2C is definitely epic!  And those were NOT small babies for triplets!

  • The VBAC is impressive, but I'm even more impressed she made it so far with triplets and that they were so big! I wish my one baby would have been that big!
