  I've actually heard some of those things said to people before. I'd like to think I'd have some great response if someone said any of those to me. Likely I'd just get internally irritated and not say anything.

  I'm a WAHM, but if we could do it, I would much rather be a full-time SAHM. I am pretty sure that if anyone said this: I'm sure you're not the only one who's ever wasted money on a college degree. to me, they would never find all the pieces that were left behind in the wake of my wrath!

  Fortunately I've never had any of these said to me (yet), but I do wonder sometimes what people who don't have kids think when I say I'm a SAHM.

  These are SO true.  Both lists.  I can relate to both for sure though since I have 3 days off a week while DH is working ... People can be so stupid sometimes and not think before speaking

  Those are good lists!  I have already heard some of the comments on the working mom list, and I really have to bite my tongue.  It would be nearly impossible for me to be a SAHM and stay here in Seattle, and I actually don't think I'm doing my daughter a disservice by working - but the comments make me feel guilty about it.
