  I've had several friends who loved the Yarrow Bay Kindercare (technically south Kirkland/Bellevue).  Kirkland Children's School is amazing - there may be a long waitlist though, depending on her kids' ages.  There are SEVERAL places in the north part of Kirkland, both in-home and centers.  I don't too much about those though.
