Shellac manicure: Where to get it? Do you love it?

I've been thinking about getting this for an upcoming vacation. I've heard both pros (how long it stays on) and the cons (does it really ruin your nails?).

If you can recommend to me where you get this, that'd be great. I'd prefer to stay in Mason/West Chester (or near vicinity)...

    My girlfriend and husband who own their own salon do Shellac/Axxium and there is one more (can't remember the name).  I have it done on my feet and it lasts 2 weeks or when you get regrowth whichever comes first and it does not chip.  It goes on like a polish with a base coat and top coat but they cure it so the time needed is significantly lower and you usually get a pedi or mani with it too.

     The only time it will ruin your nails if you try to 'peel' off the color and file it instead of soaking it off.  They are thin like just regular polish and look totally natural.

    I do :) Melody at Trendz Salon in Blue Ash. 793-5700.  I live in West Chester and it takes me 10 minutes to get there.
