O before IUI?

I triggered last night, but what if I O before the IUI?  My RE said we shouldn't BD 2-5 days before the trigger, and we haven't at all because I've been uncomfortable from the stims.  I hope I didn't do all of this work to miss my chance.  Sad
Me: 27, DH: 28 TTC since 11/09
2/10 & 3/10 Clomid 50mg-BFN
5/10-Lap Surgery for Stage 2 Endo
3/11-IUI#1 with Follistim and Menopur-developed mild OHSS= BFN
6/11-IUI#2 with Follistim -developed moderate OHSS= BFN!
7/11-FSH-11, AMH 1.6
9/11-ttc naturally with positive thoughts :)
10/6/11-POSITIVE pregnancy test!!! 15dpo BETA-220
6/14/2012- Riley Harper arrived!! We love our little girl

    The trigger will make you O 24-36 hours after you take it. When is your IUI?

    Monday at 8:45am, but I feel like my body started to gear up to O before I triggered.

    You may feel like you are ovulating, or getting ready to ovulate but it is unlikely that you will before your IUI. It really isn't very common. Also, remember that even if you do ovulate, the egg will live 12-24 hours. Good luck tomorrow!

    You most likely will not O early with the trigger. Good luck!

    Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

    FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
    Transferred a 6BB hatched blastocyst- genetically normal female embryo
    BFP! 5/28- 5dp6dt      
    6/1 Beta #1- 223! 6/3 Beta #2- 567!

    What size were your follies before you triggered? Did you detect a natural LH surge before you triggered? It is possible to O before the IUI if you begin to surge on your own before the time of the trigger, but hopefully this wasn't the case, and even if so, you do still have a 12-24 hour cushion after O. Since the sperm is going directly to the uterus, it doesn't need time to travel, so conception can definitely still occur after O during the time that the egg is still viable. Good luck!

    IUIs #4-6 (injects) = 3 BFNs
    IVF #1 = BFN

    TTCing since 2008 Unexplained 3 - IUI's all BFN's IVF#1 July, 2 grade A, 8 cell embies put back, 12 frosties. BFN FET #1 10/30, beta #1 on 11/11/11-352!!!BFP!! Beta #2-1152 image

    I did the same thing.  I just feel so crummy.  I feel crampy and nauseous and my breasts are so sore.  Good thing I'm not in the 2ww yet or I would be driving myself nuts!

    Yuck, sorry u are feeling like that! at least we will be in 2WW together, to share all the phantom symptoms ;)

    I'm sure you will be fine. I did not have to trigger this time but I noticed the line getting close to dark on my OPK Friday late afternoon and had my IUI Saturday morning.

    Good luck!!!  I don't think I actually O'd now.  I still have a ton of ewcm so I think I'm good.  It was really hard for me to chart because of the very early RE appointments, and I didn't buy any opks this month.  Yesterday morning my follies were 22,18,17,16,15,14,12 and a lot that were 11 and 8.
