In need of good luck dust!

Dh FINALLY got a reply back on a job. He will be called Monday to set up an interview time!

If this happens, I can cut back my hours and only work part-time till the baby is born, and be a SAHM after because it pays better than what I make now! (I still plan on finding another family with an infant around my babies age to pull in a little bit of income, while I work on getting my AA in ECE.) I have been the sole bread winner since we moved in together in Aug, and was the one to have all the money for the apartment.

I really hope he gets this, because he has been so down in the dumps about not being able to contribute to the family. He grew up being taught that mothers stay home with their children, and fathers bring home the bacon. Since I was little I wanted to be "bare-foot, pregnant, and in the kitchen" (no wonder we get along well!).

This could be what we are waiting for... I just pray so hard it goes well!

Happy vent! This would mean a huge weight off my shoulders.

Good luck!! I've thought about that too- watching another kid about my kids age for a little extra cash. I think it's a great option if you can do it! GL again!

Good luck to your DH. I nanny part-time for an almost 3 yr old. I really like the age difference and think it is easier than if they were the same age. Just something to think about as 2 infants would be a lot more work.
