Team Blue! Brady was born on March 10, 2011 @ 7:27. 7 lbs 7 oz 19.5 inches.

Had a natural birth.... Just the way we wanted to do it.

Had doc appt. on Thursday and I was at zero, zero, zero. Doc suggest to induce on Monday so we left appt very depressed that we were going to have to induce instead to doing it natural the way we wanted but, doc did not want baby to get big and we not be able to deliver since I am so small.

Later that evening, I was leaking and did not believe it was my water since I was not progressing early in the day. Eventually went to bed and woke up around 1 am and found a small amout of blood in my urine but still did not want to jump to any conclusions. Got up again around 2:30 and had more blood. Woke husband up and we watched my contractions, they seem to be about 4 minutes apart. Still I did not want to believe I was in labor. Went to L&D around 4:30 am I was 80% effaced and 3 cm dialated. Got comfortable and we ready for the long haul....

Ask nurse to check me around 6 am because the pain was just coming and coming with no break. I was 100% effaced and 10 cm dialated. They needed to call the doc. I did my best breathing baby down and small gentle pushes. Doc walked in room around 7 am. Started in on some bigger pushes and he was here 27 minutes later.

Painful but quick birth. We are both so happy and super in love.

Congrats on your little guy! Thanks for sharing your story... I'm planning to go natural too. I'm glad you were able to avoid an induction! Just goes to show that internal checks (pre-labor) really mean nothing!

Congratulations and thank you for sharing. I am also 0-0-0 and even though I have 18 days until my due date, my doctors wanted me to be aware that they may have to induce, etc. I am now hopeful that may not be the case, so thank you SO much for sharing!
