9 month stats

A had is 9 month appt yesterday.

he is 22 pounds 6 ounces and 30 inches long!

we have only one tooth so far and he hasnt started crawling yet.

going to see a pedi opthalmologist next week for  possible lazy eye and a pedi ENT for possible facial nerve palsy.  he does a one sided smile sometimes and sometimes only raises one eyebrow.  it's been present since birth but is really bothering me so we got the referral.

Re: 9 month stats

  • Aww... if A needs a patch you totally have to dress him up like a pirate. ;-)  (My DH had/has lazy eye and wore one.)  And no worries about the crawling or teeth. My DS started crawling a few days before 9 months--9 months is still within normal range.

Though I hope all is OK with the facial nerve.  Please keep us updated.

And I really wouldn't worry about the facial stuff. But like Robyn said, keep us posted!
  • Margaux had no teeth at 9 months, and she was a late crawler, too.  I hope the face stuff turns out to be nothing, I know Margaux has a few one-eyebrow expressions, and her smile can be lopsided sometimes.  Good luck!

  • Great weight and height! My oldest one had her first tooth at 14 months and J. had his first at 12 months. I heard my 1st tooth came out at 15 months!  Now we are all fine and have all the necessary teeth according to our ages. GL with the ENT appt!
