Advice on Formula- where is the best deal

hi all
My daughter is 10.5 months and has decided she doesnt like nursing anymore:(. so im starting to dry up. I have some samples that i am working through this week. But i am trying to figure out what the best deal would be to get me through the next 6-8 weeks.  I figured i need about 1000oz to get through. I have 5 Similac checks so i am thinking that might be the best option.

i see they have those simplepacs for about $22 and i have $5 checks. that would bring it down to about $17 dollars.

So i guess my questions are:

1. if you have formula babies, is it safe to say a 10 month old eats about 20oz of formula  a day? So about one tub of formula a week.

2. is there a place that is cheaper than others for formula, as well as does anyone know of any coupons out there right now?

 thanks for all your help!

Re: Advice on Formula- where is the best deal

  • Since I got pregnant before My DD was 1.. I started to wean one bottle at a time starting at 11 months. I still b/f but started to give her a bottle at the same time everyday.. I used the next step formula. this was only because I had two big samples of Emfamil Toddler formula... I ended up only having to but one can after a coupon for 10.00.  You call or email for samples.

  • Generic will be way cheaper even with your coupons. If you compare the ingredients side by side, you will find maybe one minor difference. GL!
