I will in moderation. We grill a lot in the summer, so she will at least have a mett. I will cut it up small, and likely pull the skin off to make it easier to chew.

Yes, I eat them, and I will feed them to her eventually. Probably not my first choice since I want her to get a taste for "real" food first rather than preferring things like hot dogs, but our plan after tasting her through things for allergy purposes is to pretty much feed her whatever we're eating.
Do I eat them - yes - once in a very blue moon. Like once a year perhaps.
Do I feed them to LO - yes - he loves them. I buy the natural ones to avoid SOME concerns about nitrates.
Otherwise the important thing is to CUT THEM UP! They are a choking hazard when served as circles. Should be cut lengthwise and crosswise

It's not something I would keep in the house, but if we were out of the house at a bbq or something, sure. (of course, cut down the middle so it wasnt a choking hazard and all that.) (and of course, ya know, after he has teeth n stuff...)
Umm...with a 1, 2, and 3 year old they're a staple in our house We do eat turkey dogs, though, to try and make them a bit healthier. I eat hot dogs on occasion - I have to really crave one, but I don't have any issues with the wee one's eating them. We add in fruit/veggies and something else healthy, so it all balances out!
I haven't been able to get her to eat anything for the last few days except cheerios and peas. I cut up a hotdog (both ways so its not in a circle) and she is LOVING it!
So now dinner was half of a hotdog with peas and a side of cheerios.
He's had a couple. We don't have them often and I only get the all beef ones because otherwise they make me nauseous. I always cut them up lengthwise as well as across to avoid the whole choking hazard thing.
I only eat them at ballgames. DS is almost 3 and has never had one. I"m not against it, although if he did I would prefer the nitrate free ones. The kid pretty much hates all meat, so I doubt he'd be into them anyway.

DD ate one the other day. We were at a cookout and I was having a bad mommy day and didn't bring anything for her to eat. I cut it up real small but it wasn't her favorite.
From miscarriages, a diagnosis of a bicornuate uterus, and fibroid removal surgery...It's been quite the journey but it was all well worth it.
I keep some in the fridge as a back up. I buy organic, nitrate-free ones and cut them up to avoid the choking hazard. It's quick and easy if we've run out of other options.
Yes. DD1 is really picky and really skinny so if she eats them, I'll give them to her. Where we are now, though, you can't get good hot dogs, so I haven't bothered trying. In the States, I buy the nitrate-free ones from Trader Joe's. I would rather she not eat Oscar Meyer, etc.
Sure. It isn't a regular part of our diet, but we eat them at picnics and ball games and I see no reason why LO can't when she is old enough for such things. I love hot dogs!
Re: Would you feed your LO hotdogs
I eat them and DD will eat them one day.
We are trying to cut down on overly processed foods but I'm not going to be obsessive about it. She just probably wont have it until she's like 2 or 3

I eat hot dogs. Probably more than I should.
We give Addie chicken dogs and based on what everyone else is saying, maybe she eats them too often. But she loves them and won't eat much else.
