There is a website for everything, even if it isn't perfectly accurate...several websites list Aanal as an Indian/Hindu name, for girl or boy. I found one that gives the meaning of "center of spiritual energy". Not sure how it's pronounced though...Uh-nall? (rhymes with mall?)

I was thinking the same thing as you. Probably an Indian name and probably pronounced uh-nall or Ah-nall.
I work at an elementary school and I see terrible names all.the.time.
This is why I list 'international appeal' in my name tests. Poor woman probably has a lovely name in another country, but is stuck with an unfortunate association here.
Imagine if poor Aanal from the pharmacy were to somehow meet and marry the Dr. Butt from the billboard. Aanal Butt would be urban legend worthy.
CTFU. There's a Dr. here who was arrested on various charges. His first name is Kermit. I instantly flashed to when he used to do the one skit on Seasame Street where he's the reporter "Kermit the Frog here..."

Re: Worst name ever.....?
Maybe it's a different nationality though....
She looked Indian.
Poor girl.

That's terrible! It reminds me of a girl I traveled with named Annis. Way too easy to make fun of!
