    There is a website for everything, even if it isn't perfectly accurate...several websites list Aanal as an Indian/Hindu name, for girl or boy.  I found one that gives the meaning of "center of spiritual energy".  Not sure how it's pronounced though...Uh-nall? (rhymes with mall?)

    I was thinking the same thing as you. Probably an Indian name and probably pronounced uh-nall or Ah-nall. I work at an elementary school and I see terrible names all.the.time.

    This is why I list 'international appeal' in my name tests. Poor woman probably has a lovely name in another country, but is stuck with an unfortunate association here.

    CTFU.  There's a Dr. here who was arrested on various charges.  His first name is Kermit.  I instantly flashed to when he used to do the one skit on Seasame Street where he's the reporter "Kermit the Frog here..."
