Anyone with school aged children also?

How do you plan on handing LO and you older one's activities? DS starts baseball next month. SO works nights so I'm by myself. When I get off work @ 5 I'll have to pick both kids up from 2 different places, get food, make it to game/pratice all in about an hour. Then after game will be homework for DS, bath for both and try to get them in bed before 9. This will be done 3x a week. What the fvck was I thinking.

    You definitely are going to have a rough time with that tight of a schedule.  I actually have 5 kids ranging from 7 down to 3 months.  Thankfully my husband is typically home in the evenings.  However, if I have to take the baby to a doctor's appt or do something during the day I have a total of 4 kids to drag around as my 7yo is the only one in school.  It is definitely rough.  Is there anyone who could maybe watch the baby one or two evenings or get your son to practice once in a while to give you a break?

    My parents will probably go to most games, so they can keep up with O while we are there. But there also work until 5 or later and won't be much help.

    My DS1 starts soccer on Monday and will have practices Mon & Thurs plus games on Sat and/or Sundays. I am on my own, DH works until 5/6 most nights not home until after 6.  He works every Saturday too.  I have NO IDEA what I was thinking either!!! We can commiserate together!

    Glad to know I'm not alone. I mean we can't be the first ones to do it right? This must be where there phrase "super mom" came from.

    Oh my gosh good luck!  I don't know how sports moms do it.  I plan on having more kids and want to encourage them to do sports even though I didn't, but I don't know how I'll do it either.  [:-/]

    I have been doing DD's. bedtime routine starting at 8. And she is down for the night around 9. We just got the hang of this where she sleeps 9-4or5. I just hope that the change doesn't mess her up.
