Is chicken making anyone sick?

So far I can't do chicken, the smell makes me lose it. I had a bite of a burrito with a tiny bit of chicken in it and even that did work. The problem is, I love chinese food and we're planning to get some tonight and I want sesame chicken, but don't want to throw up in a public place. Does anyone find that if it's super deep fried or covered in a lot of sauce then it helps? It's hard wanting to eat things that make you sick :(

    Just the thought of chicken makes me gag. But I was able to eat chicken fried rice tonight for dinner.

    Yes!  I am totally turned off by chicken.  Can't eat it and can't be around it being prepared.  So far I have been able to eat it if it is mixed up in dishes.  GL with the chinese.  I love sweet and sour chicken!

    Chicken is actually a pretty common food aversion... though I didn't really have it (though I really don't eat much chicken). I've been craving dumplings.  Mmmmm dumplings.

    Grilled chicken makes me want to gag, but the one in Chinese food with a ton of sauce seems to be ok.  So weird, esp. since I love grilled chicken!

    Yup!  At this point it's my one and only aversion.  Thinking about it makes me want to Ick!....

    YES!!! It is my biggest aversion.  We have frozen chicken breast in the freezer and I nearly loose it every time I open the door.  I had to RSVP to a wedding today and chose prime rib (I don't really eat red meat) only because I don't know if I will be over this by Memorial Day.

    it's the one and only thing that makes me gag right now.  doesn't matter if it's raw, cooked, baked, breaded or covered in sauce.  it's horrible.  the smell makes me run to the bathroom.

    It turns out that I can eat it if it's covered in sauce and mixed with rice, but can't keep it down. See my "I just threw up on the side of the road" post for an update.

    LOL!  I just posted in another thread about this.  I cried tonight when MH told me he was making chicken for dinner.  I just felt so bad.  I ended up eating Hot Dogs (3) Whoops.  At least they were nitrite and nitrate free.

    Chicken doesn't make me sick, per se, but I can get about a bite or two down before I'm totally and completely over it. It just doesn't taste good at all. Basically, all meat with the exception of fish and shellfish are the same way. I'm a huge carnivore,but have become a pescatarian pratically overnight. Ha!

    I read that all fast food or other "out to dinner" chicken has tons of MSG in it, so maybe that is it? do you have an issue when you cook it at home? The thought of it makes me ill but when I eat it some how it stays down...I hope it gets better! I had a doughnut and salt and vinegar chips for breakfast so yea that tells you what my food situation has been like, lol

    Now I can tell my ol' man that I'm NOT crazy! That chicken that I had just bought did smell and taste gross!

     I have been eating lots of beef and pork, usually we are eating lean and green

    Yeah, plain white chicken made me gag for a while. I didn't mind fried chicken though.

    Chicken (except for chick fil a) is a no-go for me during pregnancy.  It's so gross to even think about!

    When I was pregnant with my DD the sight of chicken made me vomit. I couldn't eat anything that was meaty/thick either ughh. With this pregnancy its pretty much the same already! I had chicken noodle soup last night and had to pick out all the chunks of chicken lol yuck!
