I could be using this time to clean or sleep or something productive. Then again I could be sitting here feeling a bit sorry for myself and posting it on thebump.

I am.....and I don't mind one bit! DH works every Friday night so I always look forward to it. I don't have to worry about making dinner(usually pick up Panera) and I always watch the previous nights re-run of Jersey Shore (because God knows I can't still up to watch it on Thurs) and of course, lots of bumping!

Essentially. MH is home but upstairs working while I'm downstairs pisssing around online

I did just order us dinner a little while ago so when that gets here we will likely watch a movie or something.

The kids are here but they are sleeping... does that count as alone? DH won't be home for another hour, and I should be doing something productive, but watching say yes to the dress and bumping is much more fun

MH is out of town right now, so I am all alone! I am enjoying this moment because we won't have peace an quiet like this for a long time. The thing is though I was sick for the last two days so I have caught up on all my bad TV (booo).

I am sitting here all alone in the house and enjoying every minute of it. I love my DH and DS to death, but sometimes it is so nice to be home alone. DH took DS over to his parents house for dinner. I was going to meet them over there, but am so tired from work that all I wanted to do was come home, get in my pj's, and not have to worry about anything else.

Oh, there is the cat, but he is probably hiding somewhere, so I don't count him:)

I only WISH that I was at home right now.

I'm stuck at work, and it's been a ridiculous night. From customers who don't understand plain english, to our scheduling department somehow leaving me as the only person staffing a department that should have at least 10 people, I can't WAIT to go home and relax!

I now LOVE being the only one home on Friday nights! DH works swing shift and Friday/Saturday are his midnight shifts. I used to hate it. But now these two nights are the only ones all week I get a good nights sleep. I get the entire bed to myself and he is not here to wake me up every time he turns over. Of course, once the baby arrives I will probably hate him not being here again - having to do night shift all by myself. But for now I enjoy it!

Awww.. ok I totally was feeling sorry for myself that husband was out with his friends, and my friends were all out doing fun single girl stuff, or stuff with their husbands/fiances and that I was sitting at home wanting to cry BUT this totally put it in perspective. At least I was home!! I hope you have a relaxing Saturday - I am sure you deserve it.
