Parenting after a Loss

Hawaii update :)

Thank you all for the T&P!!! Hawaii definitely did not get hit badly... but the Big Island did get it the worst... it was reported that water went up to 100+ feet inland... a house in Kealakekua got swept away but no fatalities... All the boat harbors have some damage but nothing really major... They said on the north shore and in some other places, they found dead fish lying on the ground from where the water rose and then receded... It was kind of scary around 4AM because the news was showing a shot of the water by Diamond Head and the water receded out over 200 feet and it exposed all the reef that you normally don't see...

But overall we are safe and doing fine here! We are not just in an advisory and they still have some road closed....

But then it flies on again. And though we wish it could have stayed we feel so lucky to have seen it. In loving memory of MrsTyson's precious Julia.
