Sooner. I had a much easier and quicker recovery the second time around. I knew to keep ice in my pants for a long time and changed it often while I was at the hospital the second time around- I was obsessive about it!!
MUCH sooner...like probably after the 6 week checkup. Compared to 4 months the first time. I think you just heal better and feel more normal quicker the second time (barring complications of course). Knowing what to expect to feel like helps too!

Hmm, for the first time I think it was sooner The second time but by like a week. Has a lot to do with having very minimal tearing this time (thank you med-free birth) vs. second degree last time. But, the first time I had a 9 month break from it too (deployment, not another child). (edited because it made no sense the first time)
Do I have the only husband that hounded them to "give it up"'as soon as possible? I swear it was the very night of my 6 week followup appointment this time. Of course, the poor guy got next to nothing the entire pregnancy, was deployed the year prior to conception and deployed just 8 weeks after DS was born so I guess I can't blame him too much. He did go nearly 2.5 years without getting' much of anything.
My husband is like Army's, I guess... I'm pretty sure we'd had sex before the 6 week check-up. My husband really prefers not to go a week... to him, that is an eternity.
My recovery after Quinn was much better than w/ my dd (even though he was bigger by a pound and a half). We'll see about this time.
