Has anyone noticed whether Joe's Jeans wear out faster than other brands? I have typically worn Sevens, but I bought a pair of Joes in October because the rise is higher. They already have a hole in the knee! Granted, I wear tham a lot (probably 4x per week), but I was expecting them to last longer than that.
Any other recommendations for similar jeans that last longer? I have a curvy lower half and need a high enough rise that I don't flash my butt every time I bend over, but not so high that they qualify as "mom jeans."
Re: Question re designer/status denim
I have noticed that the quality of Joe's in general is just not on par with my other jeans. Every pair of Joe's I have seem to be falling apart and it's super frustrating.
As for recommendations - have you tried J-brand jeans? Or Paige Premium denim?
From what I remember you and I are about the same size
I've been wearing the Rock jeans at Express $88, and they are thick with great stitching. Love them for us hippy girls
Easter 2011
I have 5 pairs of Joes, 1 pair of Citzens and 1 pair of 7's. Joes are my favorite, non of mine have worn out, but now all are too big. Every pair of 7's or COH I have worn have to be repaired due to wear. BUT Even designer denim only has a closet life of 6-8 months. Nuts I know. I wear my jeans at least every day, right now I only have 2 pair that fit and they aren't designer because I am too cheap to spend money on a nice pair until I drop the last 6 lbs.
Joes has an outlet though, 2 pairs for the price of one.
No experience with Joe's, but my 7's have lasted forever. Yes, right now they are looking good as new folded up in a bin of clothes that may someday fit again
And you'll have to excuse this pic, because I promise they don't look like mom jeans on top in person, but I am loving these Jag Jeans right now:

Plus I was happy they were only $79, as I'm not planning on staying my current size for too much longer and didn't want to spend more than $100.
