I feel really stupid for asking this, but what/how did they test you for this? Is this a normal test they do on us?
no. it is called a fetal fibroctin (spelling is not right - but google fFN test) test. They will do it if you have symptoms of preterm labor - lots of contractions. It is 99% accurate when it comes back negative that you will not go into labor in the next 14 days.

Thanks Ladies! No, it's not a standard test. I was having some symptoms of preterm labor so my Dr wanted to check. I'm happy it came back negative. I think we're gonna go out to dinner to celebrate the good news tonight and discuss switching OB's. Hopefully I can find someone more reliable.
