I'm not in too much of a hurry yet, but I was wondering if any of you had any success with at home induction methods. I still have plenty of time so I'm not worried yet, but I really don't want to have to be medically induced.

After I lost my MP I walked my butt off(this was the only thing that ever started consistent contractions and pressure)! I also broke out the breast pump(don't think this did much), I ate spicy foods but I doubt that did anything for me since green chile is a diet staple here. I did go into labor within 72 hours of losing my MP though
I had DS at 36wk1day... so we weren't trying to trigger anything... but we had had sex in the days before, also we live on a bumpy road, so we did that daily, and the day I was in labour, but before my water broke DH drove around town seemingly trying to get caught in the little side roads that were still snowy and ice covered...
I am not sure what we would have tried if we were overdue though...
I do recommend having sex though... not necessarily because it will bring anything on, but because the 6 weeks pp is a long long time...
I've tried spicy foods, sex, bouncing on an exercise ball, pineapple on a daily basis, pelvic tilts, accupressure, nipple stimulation...and my baby has stayed put. I've also been on 2000mg/day of primrose oil for over a week. Nada. She'll come when she's ready...I guess that time will just be much later than when I'm ready, lol.
I have a 2 year old outside baby, but worked to encourage him out was I used my breast pump on low for about 5 minutes each side. My water broke that night and I had him the day before my due date. I was only 1cm dialated and had to have pitocin. DH is still convinced he wasn't completely ready to be born, but he was a healthy 7lb, 5oz, 20 inches long.
Sorry to say, my reply is much like the others. I tried everything in the book the night before I was to be induced, and though I was contracting some, it wasn't near enough to start labor.
