Growing up so fast!

Today was Quin's one month pedi appointment. We did it at 5 weeks because the doc saw him about 7 times in the first 3 weeks due to jaundice and problems gaining weight. Well after today we have turned a serious corner. He is 20 1/2 inches long and 7 pounds 9 ounces which is 2 1/2 inches longer and is 2 pounds above his birth weight. He's now the size of the typical newborn so he's still a peanut. The doc was really impressed with how alert he was and how his neck is getting stronger. Seeing his great progress makes me realize that even though I'm tired and sometimes unsure of what I'm doing, he is still thriving. I think this is something all new parents probably need to be reminded of.
