    I think my parents are going to give me simple aquamarine (march's birthstone) post earrings, but they might wait until Mother's Day or my birthday in May.

     

    I don't expect anything from DH.  

    Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)

    I won't be getting a push present nor do I want or expect one.  All of our extra money will be going to bills and lo.  Since I'm not working for awhile we are going to be a little tight on cash.

    I am jealous - I really want an iPad 2, but doubt I will ever get one (money is extremely tight).

    Last time around, I gave birth on my birthday, so my gifts were combo gifts.  DH gave me diamond earrings, and my parents gave me a camcorder.

    This time around, my due date is my birthday, so I am pretty sure, if I get something as a push present, it will be a combo gift again.

    Since there's a decent chance I'll delivery in April I asked DH to not get me a "push present" - I knew he was planning on it because he mentioned it around Christmas time.  I know he'll want to get me a Mother's Day present and two gifts that close together is way too much, especially with money tight.

    I upgraded my diamond earrings at christmas so they are super sparkly...it was a combo christmas and push present....

    i've actually never heard the term push present so i'm sure my dh hasn't either, lol. one of my bday gifts (feb) was a locket for LO's picture.

    I got a diamond heart necklace and my husband couldn't wait to give it to me either!

    I didn't think I would get anything from him because he really isn't the type to think of things like that, so I was very surprised!  He even said that he knew I wanted something with the March birthstone, but he wants to wait to get me something until we know baby is actualy coming in March.  So, I might even get a second present!

    They weren't from MH but my mom and MIL got me new charms for my Pandora bracelet- I got Katie's birthstone and a little girl bootie =)
