I will get around to a longer version at some point, but just wanted to update and give that extra encouragement that I appreciated from other VBACers. Had our little girl, Georgia Ruth on March 9th at midnight on the dot (so technically at 40w1d). She weighed 8 lb. 11 oz. and was 20 inches long. I can honestly say it was the perfect birth and I wouldn't change a thing, except for maybe sleeping more afterwards but I was on such a high that I couldn't!
I had GD, but it was diet-controlled so they think she is just bigger b/c that's how I grow them and she was the second kid (DS was 8 lb. 2 oz. but I didn't have GD). I ate during labor even though it was one of the "no nos" being a VBAC in the hospital and they totally forgot to put in the heplock and my midwife decided not to remind the nurses! I did have CFM, but that was no biggie and it was telemetry anyways.
Re: Had my VBAC (med-free, GD, team green)
Congrats on your new DD. Your story gives me hope that I can do it.

YAY! I saw on our doula's Facebook that she was at a VBAC a few days ago, and I was wondering if it was you! Congrats, and I can't wait to read your birth story.
