Last night we had a huge conversation about life with a kid so far.
Background... DH and I are both independent people. We each work 3 jobs, so we don't spend TONS of time together. But when we do see each other, it's awesome, and we have a great relationship.
We've already ran into our first "scheduling" conflict... at the end of March, there's a Monday night that I have to teach a college class. DH planned his spirit week (he's a teacher and coordinator of senior spirit week) flag football game that night.
Pre-baby, he would have pitched a fit if I asked him to re-work his game schedule so he could be home with the baby. When I told him I don't want to leave 5 week old Landon with a sitter, he said he'll find a solution. ![]()
It makes me happy to see him stepping up and getting his priorities right.
