XP: Amazing Let's Dish Deal!

I know many of you love Let's Dish like I do, so I thought I'd share this great deal:
https://livingsocial.com/deals/29849?ref=conf-jp&rpi=7970875

You'll get 8 small meals (or 4 large ones) delivered right to your house (so you don't even have to go there to make them) as well as scones, cookies and an egg-bake for $101.  We get Let's Dish delivery a few times a year and it always costs us close to $200 (without the extra freebies they're throwing in!)  I wish I could have ordered more than 1 but unfortunately it's only one per person.

Re: XP: Amazing Let's Dish Deal!

  • Thanks! I just ordered off your link. This will be good for after baby #2 arrives.

I have a question. As far as the 8 smaller meals go, do you think it's enough for 2 people if the husband likes a really hearty meal? I know they say 2-3 servings but are they nice-sized portions? I'm just asking because I'm trying to decide if I should get 4 large meals and have leftovers or do the 8 smaller.

I would definitely say that the smaller is enough.  We almost always have enough for dinner for us, plus Liam (17 months) and someone's lunch the next day.  If we do the 4 full size ones, we always have enough for another couple who joins us for dinner.

Oh, that's good to know. Now my only question is whether I should buy a second one on DH's account. I am thinking back to when DD#1 was first born and I don't think I did any cooking for at least the first month.

  • that's a good deal!  I just wish I had the money for it right now :(
  • Have you seen any other info on the deal about whether you can pick your meals? I would do it, but I don't eat red meat and don't want meals with red meat for that reason.

Yes, you get to choose which dishes you want - you could even pick all vegetarian options if you wanted!
