We're considering selling some of the babies' things for some extra $$. We have an (obviously used) Carters Cuddle Me Safari Friends swing that retailed for $119.99 at BRU when we bought it. For whatever reason it's listed on Amazon at $269.95 today. (WTH??) Anyways, I'm thinking of selling it at a M2M sale or even perhaps listing it on CL. What do you think a fair asking price would be?
DS was really the only one who like the swing, it's in very good clean condition and we've never even needed to replace the batteries!!
Here is a visual, in case anyone is in need of a swing - gimme an offer. We live in Metro Detroit, could arrange a public drop-off. Thanks!
ETA: This is the photo from Amazon.
Re: Fair price for used swing?
Let people fight over it at a M2M sale if you have other things to get rid of
If it's still in great condition, maybe try to sell for half price? People can always make lower offers. I've been at a M2M sale before and offered someone a lower price and they took it.
I've seen swings like this at a consignment shop for about $50-60, but if you are selling at a M2M, I think it should be a little lower, maybe $40-45.
HTH!
I got my swing at the M2M sale for $25 and i have this one

I probably would've paid $40
