uh oh! Water broke......

Yeah, so after a great breastfeeding class at the hospital, my husband and I went to bed at 10pm for a good night sleep. Woke up at 12 to go to the bathroom like normal and when I got back to bed, my husband asked me if I was having contractions. I told him no, go to sleep I had to pee.

I think he jinxed me cause literally 2 1/2 hours later, I woke up and jumped up fast enough to get out of bed before my water broke all over the floor. LOVELY!!!! (it got my poor doggie's tail cause he insists on laying next to me right in the way).

I'm not really having any contractions to speak of - just tightening of my lower back and stomach right now. My doctor said as long as I can feel the baby move, stay at home and come in before 2pm. Not really what I had planned for today, but I guess Sprout it coming - ready or not.

Honestly- I think I'd rather be in your shoes..... I'm not quite ready for her to be here. I expected to go late as my last appointment I wasn't doing ANYTHING and she wasn't even dropped anywhere near the birth canal.

Yay good luck ! I thought I was having contractions but iam pretty sure they were rlp very dissapointing and now iam wide awake at 330am my dr stripped membranes yesterday and some mp came out but nothing as exciting as you.
