Darius?

What do you think of the name Darius? It's a family name for my DH. Not a huge fan, but considering it for a middle name.

This. I still think of Hootie and the Blowfish. I think it works better as a middle name.

I like it. It's probably one of the few D names I do like. It has Roman, Greek and biblical roots, but isn't too out there for a first or a middle.

This. I love it. I named my parakeets Daniel and Darius when I was in middle school. Big Smile I don't think too many people would associate it with the Hootie and the Blowfish singer - he's not famous enough to make a big impression.

What nationality is DH? It is a common name amongst Lithuanians. i must know at least 10 Darius'. All of them are awesome guys, really nice and have been successful in life. like it. If you're not 100% and it's a family name, use it for a middle name.

I like it a lot, but I don't think I would use it personally. I think it's a very strong name; it makes me picture a decorated Roman centurion or something. I think that's cool.
