Good job doc!

So today i had a headach that lasted for 5 HOURS ugh, went to L&D. sat there and got monitored for 4 HOURS baby was good but my BP was alittle high. and my feet are so swollen it's stupid! so the doc orders Blook work, ok cool, this arm this vein if you take more than 8 vials i need a nap.

Nope not Pre-E

BUT I AM FRIKKIN ANEMIC!!! Good job doc, because you didnt notice that in my past 3 Blood work tests you've done before?!?!?!?!

Im glad my dr appt is on monday, and not tomorrow, idk if ill have the angry rolled in by then! >.<

    I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way but.... You went to L&D because you had a headache? I didn't know that was such a cause for alarm so I am trying to find out if it is or if is for you for a specific reason...? Sucks that you are anemic and they didn't catch it, I was very anemic when tested the first time, they retested me at 36 weeks and my levels were good (I have been on Iron) I thought t was standard to test a few times!? Amazing how different things are from Dr. to Dr.

    Anemia can actually come and go, it's possible that you were tested before but your levels weren't that bad then.

    I have weekly NSTs at the hospital where I am going to deliver and before I leave each time they make me sign a waiver that says I know to come back to L&D right away if any number of things occur, one of which is a persistant headache that does not go away with tylenol. I am assuming it has to do with elavated BP levels.

     Glad it wasn't BP related for you, but sad day on the anemia.  I was anemic at the beginning of my pregnancy and then my levels got better after switching prenatals vitamins.

      This and I have only had my blood drawn in the beginning of my first trimester for the original works ups and for bleeding and spotting issues and then when I had my GTT at 29 weeks.  Otherwise my blood hasn't been checked.

    yes i went because i had a persistant headach that would not go away with meds and because my hands puffed up like balloons in a matter of tgwo hours my dr is watching me very closely for pre e so i called him and he sent me in i didnt just go to go
