Stuck in West Boca L&D

I've been here since Tuesday since my doctor sent me here for more tests. They want to keep me a few weeks until the babies are 35 weeks (2 weeks more) because I am just into preeclampsia status. Most of the nurses are nice but there are some that just don't even check in. I am hoping they let me go home on strict bed rest. I live 2 minutes from my doctor and a few miles from the hospital.

    Oh no!  I'm sorry you are going through this.  I know it sucks being in the hospital, but at the end of the day, it is best to be monitored 24/7 to make sure you and baby are ok.  I was pre-E when I delivered at 35.5 wks.  The week before, I was in L&D for 4 days being monitored, but no protein had been discovered yet... once it was, I was scheduled the next morning.

    I know it is difficult to rest in the hospital with nurses coming in every 2 seconds and having to take of monitors to go to bathroom every 2 minutes, but hang in there... 2 wks will fly and your girls will be in your arms in no time!

    Best of luck to you!  If you don't already have one, ask for someone to bring you a laptop to keep you entertained... you can watch TV and movies on it, and stay entertained on the Bump and other sites.  Or have them bring you a book you've been wanting to read... you do have 2 wks to read it!  : )

    We have a Mac, so we downloaded Facetime, iChat and Skype and was able to keep entertained talking live to different people throughout the day.  It is the little things.  LOL

    Thank you for your words Coco :) I am praying I get the go ahead to go on bed rest at home tomorrow! DH brought my laptop this morning and it helps but I have anxiety disorder and hate being away from my element. Good news is I am urinating more which was an issue before but baby A moved and now I'm not having issues so they are redoing my 24hour urine.

    Oh great to hear.  Hope you get out and can get some rest at home... and REST!  Don't worry about the house or laundry.  Just lay in bed and take care of those little angels.
