What's everyone thankful for today?
I am thankful that I have dinner cooking in the crockpot (pork ribs with bbq sauce, onion, and jalapeno/mango chutney).
I'm thankful that r9 recommended my current reading material "In the Meantime, Finding the Love You Want" because I'm loving it and learning a lot from reading it.
I'm thankful that DS continues to say more and more words. It's fun when he can "tell" me about his day.
I'm thankful that my friend who went MIA for awhile is back to her old self and therefore our friendship is back on track.
Re: Thankful Thursday!
I am thankful for the great workout I got last night at bootcamp. It's so good to feel well, good again!
I am thankful for DS who makes me laugh and smile all day.
I am thankful for my family in general. They've all been so supportive through my pregnancy and even now with all the bs with X. It's also nice that DS will have 3 other cousins to play with once he's a bit older (there were 3 other 2010 babies in my family).
I am thankful that though I find my XH to be an insufferable douche, he is 100x the father a lot of women on here have to deal with.
I am thankful for my BF who is wonderful and makes the crappy parts of my life so much easier to cope with.
And last but not least, I am thankful for my daughter, who is the sweetest little kid in the world and makes it all worth it
Yay to all of this: especially the raise and sleeping in!
I am thankful that my car started this morning. ( i need a new alternator)
I am thankful for AAA, that came out this morning after my car had a flat tire...right outside my lil bro's High School (so embarrassing, lol) So I didn't have to get out of the car in my PJ's and change the tire. LOL
I know my YDD and P are the same age, and I've noticed this too with her... she even has a couple of sentences... "I love you", "Where are you?", "There it is!" and "Where'd puppies go?"
And she finally said "Mommy" today!
I'm also thankful for XH and I having an amicable relationship at this point. Even though he's broke because so much of his check goes to child support (he was six months in arrears) he doesn't take it out on me, and that makes me feel better.
Umm..this sounds AMAZING! The crockpot is one of man's best inventions.
I'm thankful for my group legal plan to help pay my lawyer. All the one off expenses are already adding up and not getting any help from STBXH since B has been born has stretch my finances to the limit.
I'm thankful spring seems to be coming early this year. It's just one of those things that naturally perks people up.
I'm thankful my busy season at work is getting close to being over and I'll get to start going to bed before 1am!!
