F/U: Would you ask for an induction?

I went to my appointment this afternoon and she checked me and I'm 2 cm dilated and 75% effaced. I had sort of decided I wasn't going to ask about the induction just because I was on the fence about it. But, since I had made a lot of progress in a week, I asked her to "guess" if I would go before/after my due date. She said she didn't really know. My husband chimed in and said, "I think she just really wants you to be there when she does deliver." She then brought up inducing me so that I would feel more comfortable (she knew I wasn't comfortable with the other doctor from a previous conversation) and because I've had some complications (I'm walking around in a boot for crying out loud!) Lol.

We talked about how I'm favorable because I'm dilating and all of that jazz. So, we set it up for the 21st. I'm actually very excited and happy with the decision!

I just wanted to thank you guys for your honest opinions!!

I think that is great! There are 5 doctors at my practice as well as a handful they share on call duties with, I def favor two over the others and I would be so much more relaxed knowing one of those two would be there!
