  I figured for the entertainers/pop culture stuff I will fill it in with my preferences. World leaders - probably just put the president and vice president and possibly the governor of my state.

  for Fashion trends ... Jeggings! haha- anything you like to wear right now, i really liked those eternity scarves this winter ...

  for Sports stars, I guess super bowl winners, world series winners, etc. for 2011- i have a similar question and that's what i'm doing

  for 4-6, I would just go with your favorites right now.

  We don't have world leaders in our book, just president, but we do have headlines and I'm going to wait and see what happens on the day she arrives. BIL has been in the sports section of the local paper a couple times this year, so I'm going to include that on the opposite page. :-)

  For popular entertainers/songs, look up the Billboard Top songs or albums the week of his birth, and you can look up the NY Times Bestseller's list for authors.  For fashion trends, maybe look through a recent issue of a fashion magazine?

  I'm trying to fill out "The World Around Me" page, and I need some help. What should I put for the following:

  1. World leaders: Obama,  Ghadafi, Medvedev
  

  2. Headlines: Revolutions in the Middle East/Tunisia, Egypt, Libya
  

  3. Popular entertainers: Lady Gaga, Biebs (hate both, this hurts me to say), Katy Perry, Pink, Colin Firth, Natalie Portman, Zack Galifinakis (sp?), Charlie Sheen? lol.
  

  4. Popular songs:  Born this Way, Forget You (Cee-Lo), Firework
  

  5. Best-selling authors: Stieg Larsson, JD Robb (who's really Nora Roberts), Laura Hillenbrand, James Patterson (got this from NY Times list)
  

  6. Hit TV Shows: American Idol, NCIS
  

  7. Sports stars: LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Cam Newton, Aaron Rogers
  

  8. Fashion trends NO IDEA! Maybe Jeggings? (again, hate them!)
  

  DH and I saved a newspaper from Feb 21 (the day he was born) to put in his baby book, but it only has local info in it.

   

  Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)
