37 week appointment and GBS positive.

Today was my 37 week appointment.  I had to see the other doctor in the practice just in case something comes up and my doctor can't be there on the day I deliver.  She was nice and I liked her, but she's not my doctor..so I hope I don't have to see her again :-)  

Did an internal (and she REALLY hurt me..and I've gotten them a million times before with no pain) and I'm only 1/2 a fingertip dilated.  She mentioned that because I was measuring big I should discuss with my doctor when he might induce (if I don't go naturally before my due date), or if he'd let me go past.  I hope he doesn't let me go past.

Also found out I'm tested positive for GBS.  I know it's no big deal, but I was still sad to hear it.

    I am GBS+, too.  I was disappointed to find it out; I think I'm most nervous about having to have an IV!  I'm a big wuss.

    Hopefully you'll be able to deliver with your doctor!
