Coming Out and question

I went to my first dr appt yesterday and saw the heart beat! I am 9 weeks pregnant. EDD is Oct 11. Graham is going to be a big brother and we will just miss having 2u2.

While I am thrilled to be pregnant again I feel awful. Today was the first day I actually threw up. I have no idea if it is pregnancy related or flu related. I don't have a fever but feel tired and really weak. All of those things could be first tri issues or flu. This is probably a dumb question but is there a way to know the difference right now?

Oh and I haven't come out on FB yet so please don't say anything there. Thanks.

Not really other than waiting it out and see if you come down with any other symptoms. Sorry you aren't feeling well but congrats on your pg!!!!

I had the stomach flu around 9 or 10 weeks with Sophie. It really sucked b/c I was travelling for work and staying in a hotel- luckily the concierge took good care of me! It came on suddenly and only lasted about 36 hours and then I felt much better. The way I knew it wasn't morning sickness was that I also had diahrreah and a fever. I called the OB and asked if I could take zofran which she had offered at my last appointment for m/s and I had passed (stupid- NEVER pass on zofran). She said yes and called it in to the pharmacy up there and it did help me quite a bit. I would call your doc.

Congratulations!

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. If you don't have a fever or any other symptoms like cough/runny nose, etc., then it's probably not the flu. Obviously call your doctor if you are concerned, but even if it is the flu there really isn't any treatment so unfortunately you just have to get through it either way.

Congrats!

As for the feeling bad stuff, I got the same things in my first tri. The tiredness and weird chills, combined with nausea. Ah, good times. I hope you feel better soon!

Sorry you're not feeling well, but congratulations!

Congratulations!! I'm sorry you're not feeling well though. Call your OB back and get the script for the Zofran called into the pharmacy if you think it's m/s and don't have any other symptoms. Hope you feel better soon.

Congrats! It's probably pregnancy related IMO. I was so worn out and having another child made it even worse. If I could I would of gone to bed at 6pm.
