Why do all of my clothes itch all of a sudden??

in 2nd Trimester

First it started with every single pair of jeans I own making my legs itch like crazy...now it's everything. 

I think being pregnant has made my skin way more sensitive??

I'm just going to walk around nekkid from now on.

    I had the same reaction... During 1st trimester, my poor husband had to slather me with lotion... Now it's not so bad, but there is this one spot on my back...

    problem solved!

    i know in my neck of the woods...my skin gets so dry this time of year it's enough to make you miserable! moisturize!!!

    walking around nekkid will def solve it! ;)  Or getting a detergent for sensitive skin.

    OMG, I've tried everything...I slather myself with lotion all the time and use hypoallergenic detergents...nothing is helping anymore.

    LOL! The doctor also recommended I shower in warm water, not hot... But I am still experiencing the itch... Our skin is probably more sensitive from the pregnancy. Lovely, isn't it? We walk around itchy, grouchy, frumpy, awkwardly, and, during 1st tri, with tons of morning sickness.

    Yeah... STILL waiting for the pregnant glow.

    That is so weird you said that, because last night I couldn't sleep for itching half to death!  I didn't even think about it having something to do with my pregnancy.  I just thought maybe the cat hair had gotten out of control on my blankets.  LOL!  I think maybe I heard skin gets dry faster for a lot of pregnant women...

    If glow = break out then I'm glowing big time.  My skin just hates me.

    mmm...my skin is actually so dry that it is slowly flaking away....i'm afraid i won't have skin by the time my pregnancy is over.

    Like PP said, have you tried a sensitive laundry detergent.  My skin cannot stand Tide, I'll itch all day!

    Just-Beachy, I'm having the same problem.  I look like a teenager!  I decided maybe they mean "glow in the dark" from all the red blemishes! :) It's gotten a little better for me...hoping and praying it stays that way!  I am prone to breakouts anyway, so I had a feeling this was going to happen.
