Polyps: To remove or not remove, that is the question....

Hi ladies, me again! I forgot to mention that at my RE appointment he found a 2mm polyp in my uterus. He was not at all concerned about and said I could get it removed if I wanted. He said he doubted that was the reason for our infertility though and wouldn't have mentioned it except for the fact that they have to. So, he didn't seem to think removing it was all that necessary but I'm left with the decision.
What would you do/what have you done? I feel like the chances of the egg landing on that polyp every single time is not likely, but then I'm doubtful.

My RE discovered that I was full of polyps and she wanted them removed. After the surgery she told me that she removed 20 larger ones and scraped around my uterus to remove several smaller ones. In my case it most definitely could have been preventing implantation. My RE also sent the removed polyps for testing to make sure they were not cancerous.
The decision is completely up to you but I am so glad I had it done just for the peace of mind. The surgery was simple with hardly no after effects other than some minor bleeding.
Are you having any symptoms, such as pain or mid-cycle spotting? I had mid-cycle spotting, and my RE recommended I get a lap. He thought I had scar tissue from a previous abdominal surgery, and that was the main reason for the surgery. However, he also found a uterine polyp that he believes was the cause of the spotting. So far this cycle, I have not spotted at all. I definitely think the surgery was worth it for me. But I didn't ask for the measurements of the polyp, so it could be that mine was much larger than yours, and you shouldn't be concerned. I would trust your doctor's advice. If you go a few more months without getting pregnant, you may reconsider the option of having the polyp removed.

Thank you for the replies ladies! No, I have no symptoms whatsoever of the polyp and there's only one and it's on the small side. I'm thinking I will probably just give it a few more months and then, if not pregnant, get it removed. I will be starting clomid next month and will be monitored so I'm sure they will see it during the ultrasound and see if it's grown. I just wanted to see if anyone else was told the same thing.
