OMG - just bought a coat in the big girl section

I can't believe how big DD is getting. She really shot up the last year. She was always in the 10-20% until her 3 year appointment and now she is suddenly in the 95%. Needless to say, her coat from last spring doesn't fit her any more. It still fit somewhat in the fall, but I put it on her the other day and she kept complaining because the sleeves kept riding up - whoops.

So, I went to Target at lunch and tried to pick up a new one for her - waterproof shell with fleece lining. I have been buying them there since she was 1. Well, could find a regular raincoat but not one with a warm lining. So, I walked through the big girls section on my way out of the store. Some caught my eye so I thought I would look just to see how big they would be - well, an XS is a size 4/5 so that is what I bought her. Also, since DS came along, when I pick up DD and carry her to bed (if she fell asleep in my room since it is quieter in there) I realize just how tall she is. When I took her back to the doctor this past Monday, I had her stand up by the ruler on the wall and she is 39" tall now! My goodness, where did my baby girl go? LOL
