Should we do a weekly check-in or something, where someone keeps a list of the regulars and their EDDs and all our bumps can check in and tell us how they're feeling, etc.? We do this on another board I'm on and it makes it easy to see who is coming up soon, to note down upcoming appointments and scans, etc.
I'm not pregnant anymore but I still get excited for the birth stories.
I normally lurk here but I think that it is about time I come out of hiding. I am M and I am due 10.13.11 This is my second child and we are very excited. My first was born via emergancy C/S and I had planned a natural birth. So fast forward we are planning a natural water birth VBAC.

I'm also more of a lurker, and don't post as often on this board. My daughter was born via planned c-section because my dr. said she was "too big" and I wasn't a good candidate for induction. I was too naive and scared by what she told me to stand up for myself and have a trial of labor like I should have. It didn't help that my DH was all in favor of the c/s because he's scared of vaginal deliveries. Anyway, we're getting close now - I'm almost 37 weeks, but it doesn't look like this little girl wants to leave her cushy home anytime soon. She's head down, but at my appt. a couple of days ago I wasn't dilated or effaced at all. I'm seeing a different dr. than I did with my other DD, so hopefully I can have the successful VBAC I'm hoping for.
I'm kind of a lurker on this board too since I only occasionally post congrats replies to successful VBAC stories (I love those! so inspiring!). I am at 28 weeks, doing all I can to prepare for a successful VBAC. Wishing you ladies all the best!
It looks like out of all those posted so far I better be next!
I was due 5 days ago. My cervix is definately ripe according to the midwife but still posterior, which is what is keeping me waiting. I feel depressed that I would already have a 2 week old if I had scheduled a RCS at 39 weeks like the doctor wanted, but I know it will be worth the wait when I have my baby and my VBAC!
I agree we should have a check in, although it's a little late for me to run it.
Re: How far along is everyone?
Not too long now!

I hear you. We don't even have the furniture yet. I feel like I put off everything because I was getting ahead of myself and now I just feel behind.
