We just got ours today. It's not itemized so I don't know what it includes. I know I separately owe my OB about $300 after insurance. I had a vaginal delivery (with epi & vacuum) and a standard two day hospital stay.
Total: $26,370.70
Adjustments: $18,806.70
Paid by Insurance: $7,427.91
I owe: $136.09
(Granted we pay over $800 a month for insurance, so they paid about the same amount I paid them over the duration of my pregnancy.)
Re: How much was your hospital bill?
So far the total bill is up to $25000 but there is more to come so who knows what the end result will be and what we pay OOP. What we owe so far is $600 but that doesn't include the hospital or pedi yet, that is just for my OB's office.
I had an induction with failed vacuumed assisted vaginal delivery with epi and an emergency c-section with a couple hour nicu stay for LO which cost $600. Each day the room rate was $911 and I stayed from Thursday-Tuesday
By the time we pay it all off we will probably be TTC another LO and have to go through the whole process again.
ETA: We pay 10% of everything. We do not pay for our insurance though and our family deductible is only $100.
It was about $17,000 for an induced vaginal birth with no complications. $12,000-ish was the hospital charge, $4000 was my OB's delivery fee, and it was $1200 for the anesthesiologist.
I edited mine to make more clear that the $25k is what the charges are so far...not what we have to pay but since we pay 10% of it all the final charges makes a huge difference for us.

This. And now that that is over and it's open enrollment at work I might reduce my plan. lol
Mine was $34,025
So we will be billed for a total of $1,099. (20% co-insurance for LO's portion of bills and circumcision). Everything for me covered at 100% due to already meeting my annual max out of pocket before birth ($2500). My insurance was $70 a month before LO was born.
Total of 4 nights stay in private room. Induction for pre-e with an epi which failed, so followed by emergency c-section. No other complications besides for routine pre-e meds and re-tests.
$0 and no co-pays.
Insurance covered everything 100% from the time I made my 1st appointment onwards. Thank goodness because I stayed in for 2 days & LO was in NICU for 4 days. I didn't even receive a bill.
Mine was about 13,500, and my Out of pocket is 3k. And i've already paid a $500 deductible, as well as 150 bucks for all the ultrasounds (insurance didn't cover them fully) and the initial $50 copay.
Sadly it prob would have been cheaper but I ended up needing surgery for repair.
The thing that KILLS me is the anesthesia used to put me under for the 30 min repair cost the SAME as it would have if I had gotten an F'n Epi! *facepalm*
I guess even though it was only a 2nd degree tear it was so bad cuz it was from the inside and came all the way out to and up the side of my labia that they had to put me under to stitch it up.
