DS was conceived while I was on birth control...so I am always super worried.
I am on a 3-month at a time BCP. I have been on it since I stopped BFing last April.
I currently just started the "blank/placebo" pills last night, but during the last week and a half, maybe even 2 weeks, I have had a bunch of spotting (on one day it was more like light period even). Anyone experience this? If I only get spotting and not a real "period" during the placebo week this week should I POAS?
I did POAS about a week and a half or two ago because I thought the spotting was unusual (for me personally, I know it can be common with BCP) and I was feeling some other pregnancy-like symptoms (fatigue, nauseau sore boobs), but it was negative.
I really don't want to be pregnant again yet, but I don't want to wonder about it either. I feel like I'm crazy though to test again when I am on BCP and haven't missed any pills or anything.
Re: BCP/"period" Question
I was on seasonique which is also a 3month BC and I have to have an US in 3 weeks to date my pregnancy because of the same thing. I have always had a regular period and my last one was only 3 days of on and off brown blood.
I did POAS too during that brown blood stuff but got BFN but it's still possible that it was too early to POAS.
With your pack enxperince with conceiving DC on the pill i would go get my blood drawn if I were you. Also, just a side note, if you are on seasonique the last week of pills are not placebo pills they are all progestron I believe.
