Finally a mama and re-intro

Hi ladies, I have previously posted here and some of you might remember me but I'm finally a foster mama of a 7 mos old boy and a 20 month old girl. I also run a daycare out of our home. There are just some things that you can't learn about children that are not in your care 24-7. I have studied things and learned things over the years but there are just some things that you want to relate to other mom's about. :-) I felt funny being here before with not really having children of our own so I took a bit of a break. Now I have all kinds of questions. :-) I cannot share the children's names but we call them Princess and Meatball so from here forward this is what they will be called. They both have J names so it gets too confusing as I've found to call them that.

I can so identify with you saying there are some things you can't learn about children until they're with you 24-7. I had five nieces and nephews before I had kids of my own, and I didn't think there was much I didn't know. HA! What a joke that was!
I hope life is settling down for you with the little ones, sounds like a handful with two under two! Many here can relate so we look forward to having you back.

2 under 2 overnight is definitely a little rough. We've had them 10 days tomorrow so we are definitely still adjusting. Holy cow, it doesn't seem like we've had them 10 days, sorry I'm letting my own statement sink in! lol
Meatball will be 7 mos tomorrow and weighs 23lbs so that's an adjustment in it's own!! My back is killing me! lol

My little guy is Little Bear so I know what you mean about the names.
I am a working mom so I face my own difficulties there, but I am learning things just come from experience and it changes from week to week for us.
