I was just noticing that we are both pregnant with twins and have the same due date. My baby A is measuring a few weeks behind and has low fluid. When did u find out about your baby being smaller? We found out at 26w6d, which was our first appt with the MFM.
My IVF twins born at 33w6days by c-section due to twin A being IUGR
Rylan born at 2:54pm weighing 2lb 8oz, 14.5 inches
Emma born at 2:55pm weighing 5lb 5oz, 18 inches

Re: bhilyer please come in
Hey there!
I found out 2 weeks ago, so around 26 weeks like you. Prior to that, my last u/s was the anatomy scan at 18 weeks. At that time both boys were measuring the same.
According to the measurements, Baby B is around 1 pound smaller. But they took all the anatomy measurements and pics. Both boys are equally developed in terms of brains, spinal cords, lungs, hearts, etc. My dr said that was very encouraging.
Last Thursday, I had an u/s to check the boys' fluid. Both have ample fluid. I also had my first NST. The results of the NST were "textbook perfect" according to my dr. He said that at this point, he puts much more stock in the AFI u/s and NST. Once the babies get bigger, it's harder to get accurate measurements.
What is your dr saying?
I'm beign watched for pre-e as well. My BP has been slowly rising and my swelling is getting worse. But my urine and GD tests have been normal.
How is the MFM treating the suspected placenta issue?
