WTF Wednesday

Well, not really. I want to vent about all sorts of things, especially since the last couple of weeks have been brutal with hospital appointments (L) and sick kids (nasty GI bug). It adds up to me being tired and cranky and having lots to do in the house. But, since it's all over and done with I just want to move forward. I need to make someone laugh, or have a laugh myself, so here goes.

The girls were getting ready for bed last night, T and E were getting out of the shower and drying off, I was feeding S. It was actually quiet here, only to be broken by the scream of death....from E. I jump up thinking she's hurt herself and she comes out of the bathroom in tears. So, I ask what happened and she says, "I forgot to condition my hair in the shower and my life is going to be ruined because my hair will be static-y forever!!". And tears are poring down her face!! I could not stop laughing, and she was mad!! I couldn't stop though....and I tried!

I have a feeling between that and her lack of need for sleep she's going to keep dh and I on our toes. Stick out tongue

Re: WTF Wednesday

  • HAHAHAHHAHAHA...  I can see how it would be hard not to laugh your butt off.  Next time you go to the store, pick up some leave-in conditioner for her.  :)

  • Totally have to get more leave in conditioner, we ran out on Monday. I got a 10 minute lecture from her when we ran out how it made her hair smooth and "flat" and not like Justin Beiber who by the way looks like cousin it.
  • That's funny - she sounds like a typical teenage girl with "omigot my hair" kind of thing (although my very immature 21 y.o. is still doing it). And she is only - what - five?

  • Yeah, only five in a couple of weeks. Total drama. I dread the teen years!! She's a lot like my cousins...not necessarily a bad thing, we'll have to make sure she stays grounded. Makes for interesting entertainment sometimes!

  • Hysterical. I would have been laughing too. Maybe the lack of sleep is getting to her, lol.  Hopefully she realized that she could go back in the shower and rewash / condition her hair.

  • Haha!  It's good to know that we are not the only ones with a drama filled house.  The entertainment value of our children is awesome.

  • Yeah, I did mention she could just jump in the shower again and put conditioner in...she blew up and said "It's too late for that now! I'm going to my room!" flicked her wet hair and marched down the hall. Totally done in the style of Miss Piggy.

I hear you dkays....4 girls equals a soap opera worth of drama. I'm glad it's just L going through puberty right now. Dh has already said he'll be booking into a hotel once a month when they are teens!!! Chicken.

  • Hahaha. Thanks for the laugh!
