I posted this on the Nest too, but I figured some of you mom's probably did a lot of videotaping of your LO's.  

What software do you use for home movies, to edit, burn DVDs? Adobe Premier? Pinnacle? I currently have Pinnacle, but it never works right, locks up, etc. Not very user friendly, I don't think. My goal is to download home movies from my video camera to the computer, add some transitions, etc. and burn to DVD. Should be easy, right?

    It should be easy....but mine isn't the greatest either. I have Magix Movie Edit Pro, not really happy with it. It does what you're looking for, but even when I do everything "correct", it only seems to work half the time. I'd be curious to see if someone has a better program.
