If you are thinking about asking to join this group?please read:
This is an Advanced TTTC group those who have been trying 3+ years and/or have multiple failed IUI?s /IVFs, etc. I just ask that everyone please use good judgment when asking to join...in other words, if you are still in the IUI stage or have been on this journey less than two years, this is probably not the group for you.
There is no doubt that this whole TTTC process is painful, but I also do believe that there is a very special kind of support that this specific group can offer to each other, and it is intended as a "safe haven" for those of us who are in that bottom 1% of the bottom 1%.
Thank you!
Re: Advanced TTTC check-in
Thanks Edwina for the IF Board... it is FANTASTICO!
GOOD LUCK & PPV to ? Bella2u07 (waiting for fert report), Abbe17 (snuggle in tight little ones), scooterq (starting stims), psychmuse (iron infusion), militarywife2B (IUI), gidge (baseline tomorrow)

BIG ((((Hugs)))) to missred
My Update: Still just waiting.... and waiting... DH went for bloodwork yesterday, and he will have another SCSA in 2.5 weeks. I'm still waiting to hear from RE's office on whether I could at least start BCP's one my cycle starts this month, in hopes his results come back great and we can start stims end of April...... If anyone has any t&p's to spare, please send them my way that we can start again!!!!
My town: I live 8 miles outside of my town on 2 acres of land. The town I am from has a population of 13,000 people. The "Broadway" is the main area of our town and was built way back when. You can still see the brick streets. Our town was originally Fort Greene Ville, and was a major Forte for the old pioneers. We were surrounded by Indian tribes, and it's not uncommon to find arrowheads when diggin in the dirt.
Just another thanks to Edwina!! It is really great!!!!
Huge hugs to missred.
Good luck to Bella2u07 for an awesome fert report, scooterq and your start to your BFP, psychmusetts at your iron infusion, militarywife2B for your IUI, gidge at your baseline tomorrow and abbel7- snuggle in little ones!!
Congrats to steveandkim!! Great beta!!!
QOTD: I live in sunny Florida even though it's raining cats and dogs right now. I love it because as much as I miss the four seasons (and I really do mostly miss Fall) I don't miss driving in snow. :-) And it's pretty cool to go to work and pass a bunch of theme parks. Even though that excitement fades fast with some bad 'tourist' drivers sometimes lurking around the city. :-(
Update on me: Still in 1MW (one month waith) and working on my health and weght. I'm waiting on an email from my RE in regards to doing Estrogen Priming.
Edwina your the best and thank you for everything you did for the new board!!!
Update: Had my ER yesterday..they got 8, I am now waiting for the WONDERFUL fert report today!
QOTW: I live in a very small town, it's actually called a village...it's full of Italians (which works for me, since I am part Italian), little shops, big, beautiful, old Victorian homes, there is a canal that runs through the middle of the village (to connect to a few lakes), and rumor has it, is that our village & bridges inspired the producer/director of "It's a Wonderful Life"...so for the month of December our village is called Bedford Falls and every weekend during Dec. there is something to do related to the movie. What I love the most about living here, is that the majority of my family is close by (all within 45 minutes) and I am surround by wineries.

QOTD: I live in a pine barren township 10 miles west of Atlantic City. I actually grew up right on the mainland of the absecon islands (AC, brigantine, margate, ventnor, longport, OC), so being this far away from that awesome salt water is hard lol. We are in a condo now, but when we do buy a house, we will definitely stay in the area. Hopefully a little closer to the mainland. DH and I are both teachers in a neighboring township and have 5 and 12 minute commutes, so I can't complain! I love being this close to the ocean (believe it or not, I'm not really a beach bum...i like going in the off-season ... i love the boardwalks, and the festivals the shore communities have in teh spring and fall. Being in the pine barrens, I also love that the woods are so close, we live right up against some actually. DH and I love to hike with the pups!
UPdate - iron infusion tomorrow. hoping for some BIG numbers....i'm not rising much at all after a few infusions...

THANK YOU EDWINA!!! I can't tell you how happy I am that we have the new board. I've been shying away from the IF board just because I couldn't handle it, but seeing all the "faces" that I've seen since starting on this board a year and a half ago really helps! I hope we all graduate from the new board very soon!

QOTD NYC / BROOKLYN : the diversity (people, food, landscape, cityscape)
UPDATE transitioning over to crmi, lots of tests coming up and old RE matters to wrap up.
CONGRATULATIONS to? steveandkim!
BIG ((((Hugs)))) to missred. Thinking of you!
Nothing new with me. Just hoping my estrogen level is down by tomorrow so I can start stims. Still haven't gotten AF so I'm not really counting on it.
QOTW:
I live in a metro area of a "big" city in the Midwest. I think the actual city is 250,000 but 500,000 with the metro area included. That's big for around here!
Our town is growing pretty fast but still has a kind of small town feel to it and there is some decent shopping within a half hour or so.
DH and I probably don't take advantage of a lot of things that are offered here or the fact that there are a lot of places to go that are just a few hours away. We're kind of homebody's and it's hard to find the motivation to leave the house in the winter

Update: I'm 5dp5dt. I hate the wait. I really feel off my rocker, crazy about this 2ww.
QOTD: I live in a town outside of Boston. I love where I live. I love having a yard and room. I love that I'm close enough to the city to enjoy it but far enough away not to feel crowded by it. I also love that I live in the town I work in, that makes my commute a dream!
GL!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS to? steveandkim (beta doubled J)
BIG ((((Hugs)))) to missred
Update: I triggered last night and my IUI is scheduled for 9am Friday.
QOTD: My newest home is Fort Bragg, NC. Home of the Airbourne and Special Forces. Currently I beleieve we are home to over 50,000 and growing. Its a city within the city of Fayetteville, NC.
I'm THRILLED about the IF Vet board! YAYAYAYAYA!
Good luck to bella, abbe, scooterq, psychmuse,
Congrats to stevenandkim!
BIG HUGS missred
Update: Nothing....
QOTD: Well, we live in Auburn, AL and we LOVE it! Honestly...I really love pretty much everything about it. Auburn and the surrounding area is about 85,000 people so not huge but not tiny, either. There is definitely a small town feel about it and it is your typical southern (SEC) college town. Everything revolves around the university, campus is the main attraction, downtown (a block off campus) has tons of restaurants, shops and bars. We live in the downtown historical district with large, old, renovated homes with huge porches
We live a few blocks from a great martini bar, a wonderful neighborhood restaurant and a great pub. We love our neighborhood! Auburn is a *little* small for me (grew up in Mpls) but I do love it and I'd be fine living here forever. DH both love the university, the sense of community, how safe Auburn is, how great the school system here is (if we were ever to have kids)...I love Auburn!
TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
Big thanks to Edwina and Worms for the new board! I know there were some people who disagree with the plan, but those who love you are so thankful (like me!). Honestly, that's why I had to take a break b/w my IVF cycles - it hurt so much to see someone come on, do an IUI, and then have outrageous betas and I couldn't even get anyone to tell me why all my cycles were failing!
Good Luck and PPVs to Bella2u07, Abbe17, scooterq, psychmuse, and gidge. And Worms - I think you had a good 2nd 2nd opinion meeting and I'm always impressed by how you can go after what you want and keep working with all the docs to get answers!
And thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I didn't exactly have a 48 hour doubling time (it was closer to 54), so I'm curious to see what beta #3 brings. I wish my RE did them every other day, but she's on the 4 - 5 day plan!
QOTD - We live 15 minutes outside of Philly, so its your typical big city suburb. Plus, its NJ, so we have a million strip malls and lots of nail salons!
I lived in NC for two years and lived about 20 minutes away from Fayetteville.
TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
Thanks Edwina and everyone else who helped make the IF+6 happen.
GOOD LUCK & PPV to ? Bella2u07, Abbe17, scooterq, psychmuse, militarywife2B, gidge.
CONGRATULATIONS tosteveandkim
BIG ((((Hugs)))) to missred
QOTD: I live in a small town. Small enough where you know most people, but not so small that everyone knows your business. It's convinently located near a couple of major cities on the east coast.
Update: Nothing new. Just trying to come up with the next plan.

Describe where you live (town, city, etc) and what you love most about it J
First of all, ((HUGS)) to missred. And congrats to steveandkim. GL to those in waiting (fert reports, stims, growing embies, etc.
UPDATE: Well, I spoke with my RE yesterday and she is recommending DE for me. :-(
QOTD: Indianapolis, Indiana - I love that my family is here - not much else. The city is not very progressive and there is not much to do. I think going to school back east spoiled me.
Moving forward with Adoption 2017!
Everything crossed for bella, abbe, scooter, psycmusetls,mw 2b and gidge!!!!!!! Thinking of you ladies!
Congrats steveandkim!
Hugs missred...thinking of you,too
Update: Still not sure what to do.....I may try 1 more time with my OE but thinking of going to a local clinic (different from the one I started at) instead of cornell. It is right by my office and would be a piece of cake compared to what I have already been through.
I don't like where we live....NYS is awful but my H is a state worker. We pay way too much in taxes and they can barely clean the streets when it snows.
The only good thing is, my family is here and DH's is not
and we are close to NYC + Boston and we travel to both frequently for fun.
Update: Had u/s on Tues. and it went well. Next u/s next Thurs. Trying to stay calm!
QOTD: I live in NYC, in the West Village which in my opinion is the absolute best neighborhood in the world! It's quaint w/ beautiful brownstones and little mom-and-pop shops. I feel very lucky to live there. Only bad thing is now we're spoiled and have a hard time thinking about living anywhere else, and we def cannot afford to buy an apt in the WV!
TTC in 2008. Stage II/III endo, Hashimotos hypothyroid, low morph (3%).
2 cycles Clomid/Ovidrel/TI/Crinone=BFN.

HUGE CONGRATS to? steveandkim (beta doubled J)
BIG ((((Hugs)))) to missred--I am so sorry hon. Huge hugs.
I called and made my appt with the Hematologist for April 12! They said she would run more tests. My RE hadn't sent the tests he ran over yet. I think DH, although still grumpy, is okay with waiting till end of summer to try IVF#2.
I live in a very rich suburb of a largish city. It has very nice parks and is big on ART. There is a really nice activity center and gym right behind our house--but we can't afford to belong:< They have walking trails and bike paths and it's just so cute and artsy!! Movies and concerts in the parks and all kinds of cool stuff.

Not sure what to do now. Sad and lost.
Hey, I live in Carmel! You should try to check out things here to do, they are always having stuff. Or maybe Zionsville. We used to do a lot of fun stuff there when we were kids. But I agree, Indy is so not very progressive.

I love our area because we aren't far from the city or the beaches. Plus we have lots of farms to get fresh produce from.
