Re: Short poll to get us started today
1. If you had your choice of what you really wanted to do today, what would it be? Be at home in bed. I am sick (again), and really feel like crap today. If I felt good, I'd like to take the day off and work on my craft room, or take a field trip to Ikea.
2. What is something you do not know how to do, but would love to learn/know how to do? I'd like to be able to use power tools to make stuff for our home like I see on all the craft/decorating blogs I read.
3. Do you & your DH have activities/hobbies you do together? If so, what? If not, what are some things you would like to do? Not really, sadly. We took shag lessons when we were dating, and I was determined to make that our "grown up hobby." Yeah, hasn't happened, and I'm pretty sure I don't even remember how to do the dance anymore, even. Well, none of the fun steps anyway.
4. What are your favorite things to do when you are by yourself? You know, if you ever get to be by yourself...ha! I like to bargain shop, and work on felt crafts and sew. Really don't have much time for it right now though. :-(
1. If you had your choice of what you really wanted to do today, what would it be? Well, I'm having a lazy day with J which is well needed after the last few weeks, so that's pretty good. However if he wasn't around I'd use my gift certificate for a massage and get a mani/pedi.
2. What is something you do not know how to do, but would love to learn/know how to do? Two things...(1) Make delicious homemade bread. (2)Knit. In theory I want to do this, but in practice I get frustrated. I may try to get my MIL to teach me again though.
3. Do you & your DH have activities/hobbies you do together? If so, what? If not, what are some things you would like to do? Not really, but I'd love to do something active together...running, hiking, something outdoors.
4. What are your favorite things to do when you are by yourself? You know, if you ever get to be by yourself...ha! I guess this depends on the mood...if my house is a wreck, I love to clean uninterrupted (which is pretty lame). However, if the house is in order, I like to be crafty (sew, digi-scrap). Shopping would rank pretty high up there too!
1. If you had your choice of what you really wanted to do today, what would it be? Work on organizing the house. We're rearranging and things are in a slight disarray. If I was doing something completely fun - take Caleb to Marbles and out to lunch.
2. What is something you do not know how to do, but would love to learn/know how to do? Be crafty. I want to be able to sew and crochet and create!
3. Do you & your DH have activities/hobbies you do together? If so, what? If not, what are some things you would like to do? Not really anything specific. We do play games together (Uno, SkipBo, Wii) and have a few shows we only watch together (Dexter). We would like to take ballroom dancing classes together.
4. What are your favorite things to do when you are by yourself? You know, if you ever get to be by yourself...ha! Catch up on my shows (Glee, 30 Rock, Criminal Minds). Nap. Cook. I love being able to enjoy cooking without distractions.

I would love love love to learn how to sew better to make basic outfits and quilts and stuff like that. I'm sure if I put forth the effort, I could, but there's just not a lot of free time currently to pick up a new fun thing.

We go horseback riding together, bike rides, hikes, etc. We're together 24/7 as we both work from home, so there's not much we don't do together.

Sit and Read a good book with no one to disturb me!! So relaxing for me.

1. If you had your choice of what you really wanted to do today, what would it be? Stay in bed in my pajamas and read/watch TV. I was sick earlier this week, and I am still exhausted.
2. What is something you do not know how to do, but would love to learn/know how to do? Drawing a blank, though I know there are plenty. I'll say cook
3. Do you & your DH have activities/hobbies you do together? If so, what? If not, what are some things you would like to do? Um, not really LOL. Something we used to enjoy is traveling, trying new things together - hopefully again soon!

1. If you had your choice of what you really wanted to do today, what would it be? I would go back to bed for a bit, then go out to lunch and go shopping for some new spring clothes.
2. What is something you do not know how to do, but would love to learn/know how to do? I know how to crochet and knit, but I would love to learn advanced skills. I can do chains and that's about it.
3. Do you & your DH have activities/hobbies you do together? If so, what? If not, what are some things you would like to do? We go for walks together and cook together. We used to play tennis, but with O we really can't anymore. I would love to run together, but I suck at running
4. What are your favorite things to do when you are by yourself? You know, if you ever get to be by yourself...ha! Read! I am so boring, I really need to get some hobbies.
1. If you had your choice of what you really wanted to do today, what would it be? I'd have to say sit around and catch up on my shows while scrapbooking! Thought I love Hughes' Idea of a field trip to Ikea too

3. Do you & your DH have activities/hobbies you do together? If so, what? If not, what are some things you would like to do? Not persay, we like to take family walks or bike rides but we dont really have any specific hobbies or anything.
4. What are your favorite things to do when you are by yourself? You know, if you ever get to be by yourself...ha! Scrapbook, Just relax, I still have a giftccard for a massage that I need to use!
1. If you had your choice of what you really wanted to do today, what would it be? Honestly, my taxes so I could get that off my plate of things to do that keeps piling up.
2. What is something you do not know how to do, but would love to learn/know how to do? Knit -- I'm very curious about the draw to it that so many woman have, I'd like to try it out sometime.
3. Do you & your DH have activities/hobbies you do together? If so, what? If not, what are some things you would like to do? We like to go to operas, eat out a good restaurants, and go to comedy clubs. I would love it if we had more time and $ to do this more often than we do now that we have kids.
4. What are your favorite things to do when you are by yourself? Read, work on my photo books, and work on the girls video compilations. All with a glass of wine in hand.

1. If you had your choice of what you really wanted to do today, what would it be? --- Oh wow, so many things. Would be a perfect day to lounge on the couch catching up on DVR and a movie. OR go shopping!!!!

Honestly when I get my alone time I just like to zone on the couch watching MY shows! If I'm totally alone in the house (rarely happens) it is nice to clean w/o being interrupted.
